Privacy Policy

This explains what happens to information collected through drdanielademedeiros.com. It’s separate from my Notice of Privacy Practices, which covers protected health information for people who become clients.

The contact forms

The contact forms on this site are Google Forms. When you submit one, your responses are stored in Google Workspace. I have a Business Associate Agreement with Google covering these services.

I use what you send only to respond to you and to determine whether we’re a good fit to work together. I never sell this information or use it for marketing.

Submitting a form doesn’t make you a client and doesn’t create a therapist-client relationship.

Because the forms are provided by Google, Google may set cookies within the form itself. That’s governed by Google’s privacy policy.

Tracking

This site contains no analytics code, no advertising pixels, no session recording, and no chat widget. The site itself does not set cookies.

Fonts

The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Your IP address is visible to Google as part of that request.

Links to other sites

Some links lead elsewhere, including Headway for scheduling, TherapyPortal for appointment requests, and my social media profiles. Once you leave this site, this policy no longer applies.

Minors

This site is not directed to children, and I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Treatment for minors is arranged with a parent or guardian.

Your choices

You can browse this entire site without providing any information. To ask what information I have about you or to request deletion, email daniela@drdemedeiros.com. If you are or were a client, requests about your health record are handled under the Notice of Privacy Practices instead.

Changes

I may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
